Instructions
1. Position vine design onto surface. Secure as needed with removable tape. Pounce Hauser Medium Green in design. (Make sure you do not use too much paint. Excess paint will bleed under template.)
2. Repeat around can as desired. For interest, lightly pounce again with Hauser Dark Green.
3. Add flowers in Moon Yellow, Bright Orange, and Deep Burgundy, using photo as guide.
4. Pounce Deep Burgundy on bottom of Bright Orange flowers and Bright Orange on Moon Yellow flowers. Add plaid stripe lines on Moon Yellow flowers.
5. Pull dots of Deep Burgundy to create daisies and add Bright Orange centers.
6. Add center dots to rest of flowers. (Refer to photo.)
7. Attach papers, ribbons, and buttons.

| PREPARATION 1. Cut pine according to the following dimensions: ends, 14--3/8" X 9-1/4"; sides 5-7/8" X 24-1/2". Cut bottom 23-1/2" X 9-1/8" and drill 8 evenly spaced 3/8" holes for drainage. Cut "roof" pieces at ends. 2. Assemble, using finishing nails. Cut holes and attach dowel for handle. 3. Seal wood and lightly sand. PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Basecoat with Light Buttermilk. Basecoat roof, handle and edges with Plantation Pine. 2. Measure off 4 rows of bricks and tape off; basecoat top with Driftwood. 3. Measure off boards and make line with pencil. Line boards with Soft Black and liner (Example A). Float Soft Black on either side (Example B). Wet scumble Burnt Umber, then Soft Black, then Light Buttermilk over boards for grain lines (Example C). Add Soft Black nails. Helpful Hint: When separating board horizontally, float sections before graining. 4. Measure 4 rows of bricks and mark all lines with pencil. Broad stroke in Red Iron Oxide with #12 or #14 flat. Don't cover grout lines. Paint grout lines with Driftwood and liner brush (Example 1). 5. Float shade on left side of bricks with Antique Maroon (Example 2). 6. Damp scumble Soft Black onto shade side. Keep softening with fingers. Damp scumble Driftwood on highlight side (Example 3). 7. Shade both sides of brick wall with Antique Maroon. Use large brush to shade entire bottom of wall. 8. Use 1/4" rake to enhance highlight on bricks with Light Buttermilk (Example 4). 9. Reverse tape and use large brush to float shade on bottom of planks with Burnt Umber. 10. Use Weathered Wood on house fronts. Overcoat with Sand. Seal crackle with Americana Matte Spray before beginning pattern. 11. Transfer patterns for birdhouses. Paint bricks and finish same as side of box. Paint pots Burnt Orange, shade Red Iron Oxide and Antique Maroon if needed; highlight with dry-brushed Light Buttermilk. 12. Paint topiary stem with mix of Burnt Umber and Light Buttermilk. Foliage is Black Green, Avocado and Jade Green, then Light Buttermilk, then Cadmium Yellow. 13. Put chives in small pot with liner and Black Green, then Avocado Green. Float Black Green at bottom of chives. 'Garden Re-Tweet' Side 1. Basecoat hole and perch Soft Black. Stipple foliage on wall with Black Green, Jade Green, then Cadmium Yellow. Paint sign above hole with Driftwood; while wet, blend Burnt Umber in ends and sides, chisel in Burnt Umber and Soft Black grain lines. 2. Letter sign Soft Black. Basecoat window box Light Buttermilk; shade Khaki Tan. Shade under window box Burnt Umber. Paint vines up side with Avocado Green and Burnt Umber. Stipple foliage and flowers in window box with Black Green and Cadmium Yellow. 3. With #4 scumbler, stipple lilacs Summer Lilac with Light Buttermilk highlight. Add touch of Sapphire with #0 round for blue salvias. 4. Paint Black-eyed Susans with #0 round in Moon Yellow with Black Green centers. 5. Paint geraniums Country Red and Light Buttermilk with #0 round. 6. Fill in window box with Avocado leaves. Add shading behind brick wall and foliage along bottom and up sides, under sign and under roof with Burnt Umber. 7. Add black nails to window box and sign. Paint hanger rope Burnt Umber. 8. Highlight bird hole and perch with Light Buttermilk. Add more grass at bottom edge, Light Buttermilk filler dots to window box, Burnt Umber and Soft Black grapevine wreath around bird hole, Plantation Pine leaves, and Avocado Green rosemary on brick wall. 9. Stipple Soft Black and Khaki Tan for dirty grey to make moss for hanging basket. Basket wires are black run through with Light Buttermilk. Fern is Avocado. Herb Rack Side 1. Apply Americana Matte Spray to Weathered Wood and let dry. 2. Transfer pattern for window, shutters, hole, perch, rack and bricks. 3. Basecoat bricks and finish as for other end. Basecoat window Soft Black; tape off. 4. Basecoat shutters Avocado; shade Black Green; highlight shutter with Avocado and Light Buttermilk chisel strokes. 5. Basecoat window cross pieces and frame with Light Buttermilk. Shade with Khaki Tan and Burnt Umber. 6. Float edges of window panes with Light Buttermilk; brush cross strokes of Light Buttermilk across panes to make glass. 7. Basecoat window box and herb rack Driftwood; hole and perch Soft Black. Shade and wash over rack and box with Burnt Umber. Make wood grain lines with damp scumbler and Burnt Umber, Soft Black and Light Buttermilk. 8. Basecoat knobs with Burnt Umber and shade with Soft Black on and under one side. Highlight with Light Buttermilk on other side. 9. Shade under window and rack before making hanging herbs with Burnt Umber. Make bunches of dried herbs and flowers in various colors. Stems can be Black Green and Avocado. Strings are Driftwood with Soft Black run through and Light Buttermilk highlight. 10. Put foliage in window box (same as other window box). 11. Basecoat pot with spiral topiary. Shade and highlight like others. Basecoat Burnt Orange; shade Rookwood Red; highlight Light Buttermilk. FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS Spray with Americana Matte Spray.
